老挝作为中南半岛矿产资源富集区，已探明金、铜、锡、铅、铁等20余种矿产。本项目位于琅勃拉邦矿区，是一个总投资8000万美元、年产120万吨的中型铁矿石选矿项目。矿区面积500公顷，铁矿石平均品位45%，主要矿物为磁铁矿与赤铁矿混合矿。
